Data · Measurement

Analytics & measurement.

Tracking and reporting set up so you can tell which lever actually moved.

If you cannot trust the numbers, you cannot trust any decision made from them. We fix the tracking, then build reporting that answers the questions you actually ask.

What’s included

Trust your numbers again.

Most stores have tracking that was set up once and never checked. We audit it, fix it, and make sure CRO, AOV and retention are measured the same way.

01 · Tracking

Get the data right.

An event-by-event check that what is recorded is what actually happened.

  • GA4 audit and configuration
  • Ecommerce event tracking
  • Consent mode and privacy set-up
  • Server-side tracking where it matters
  • Pixel and conversion API health
02 · Attribution

Know what worked.

A clear view of which channels and changes drove revenue — and which only claimed it.

  • Channel attribution review
  • UTM and campaign conventions
  • Test and experiment tracking
  • Email and SMS attribution
  • Platform versus analytics reconciliation
03 · Reporting

See every lever.

Dashboards built around the decisions you make, not every metric available.

  • Revenue dashboard across three levers
  • Conversion, AOV and retention KPIs
  • Cohort and LTV reporting
  • Automated weekly summaries
  • Documentation your team can maintain

The dashboard

One screen. Three levers. Numbers your team agrees on.

Built around the decisions you make each week — not every metric the platforms can export.

What you get

Four things, start to finish.

Documented, so the next person to touch your tracking knows exactly how it works.

  1. Tracking audit

Every event, tag and pixel checked, with what is broken and why.

    PDF · at kickoff
  2. Fixed set-up

Tracking corrected in GA4, Shopify and your ad platforms.

    Live in your stack
  3. Revenue dashboard

CRO, AOV and retention on one screen, updated automatically.

    Always on
  4. Measurement plan

What is tracked, where and how — written down.

    Yours to keep

How it works

Four weeks to numbers you trust.

Audit first, fix second, report third. A dashboard built on broken data is worse than no dashboard.

  1. Week 1AuditEvery tag, event and pixel checked against real orders.
  2. Weeks 2–3FixTracking corrected across GA4, Shopify and ad platforms.
  3. Week 4ReportDashboards built around the three levers and the decisions you make.
  4. OngoingMaintainChecks after every theme change, launch or app install.

How the data moves

Clean data in. Decisions out.

Every source is checked, deduplicated and reconciled to Shopify before it reaches a report — so the number in the meeting is the number in the bank.

The clean layer

One version of the truth

  • Orders deduplicated across platforms
  • Consent-aware event tracking
  • One UTM convention, enforced
  • Refunds and cancellations netted out
  • Reconciled to Shopify every week

Who it’s for

A fit for some brands. Honest about the rest.

Best-fit signals

  • GA4 revenue does not match Shopify
  • Every ad platform claims the same sale
  • No one trusts the dashboard
  • Tests run without proper tracking
  • Recently migrated theme or checkout
  • Reporting built by hand every week

Not a fit

  • Looking for a paid media agency
  • No analytics access available
  • Pre-product-market-fit, or under $50k/month
  • Magento / Adobe Commerce

Below roughly 500 orders a month (about 50,000 sessions at a 1% conversion rate), a testing program produces inconclusive results. Brands under that floor get research-led fixes and implementation instead, or an honest referral.

FAQ

Before we audit your tracking.

Didn't see your question? Email us at 100xretention@gmail.com

Why doesn’t GA4 match Shopify?

Usually consent, missing events, duplicate tags or ad blockers. The audit tells you which, and by how much.

Do you run paid media?

No. We make sure paid media is measured properly, but we do not manage ad spend.

Which dashboard tool do you use?

Whatever your team will actually open. Often Looker Studio, sometimes the tools you already pay for.

Do we need server-side tracking?

Not always. We recommend it only where the data loss justifies the cost.

Is this a one-off project?

It can be. Many brands add ongoing maintenance, because tracking breaks quietly with every theme change.

Who maintains it afterwards?

Your team, if you like. Everything is documented in plain language.
