CRO · FLAGSHIP SERVICE

Shopify CRO.

Conversion research, UX audit and prioritized experimentation on the pages that carry your revenue — run as one program, not a list of tickets.

We start where the money leaks, test what we think will fix it, and only ship what the data proved. Every change is measured against revenue, not clicks.

What’s included

Research, testing and build run as one program.

Most CRO stops at a list of ideas. We own the loop: find the leak, prove the fix, ship it, and measure what it was actually worth.

01 · Research

Find where revenue leaks.

Analytics, session data and customer research across the templates that actually carry your revenue.

  • Funnel and template-level analysis
  • Session recordings and heatmaps
  • Heuristic UX audit of every key template
  • Post-purchase and on-site surveys
  • The gap between mobile and desktop
02 · Testing

Prove the fix first.

A roadmap ranked by revenue impact, with every test designed to reach significance.

  • Roadmap scored by impact and effort
  • A/B and multivariate tests
  • Hypotheses and metrics agreed upfront
  • Significance QA before any winner
  • A written log of what every test proved
03 · Build

Ship what won.

Design and development of the winning variants, so results reach production instead of a slide.

  • PDP and collection page UX
  • Landing pages built around the proven case
  • Cart and checkout optimization
  • Speed work weighted by revenue
  • Handover your developers can maintain

Anatomy of a leak

Revenue rarely leaks everywhere. It leaks somewhere specific.

We trace the funnel stage by stage until the drop-off stops being a percentage and starts being a reason.

Illustrative example — every store leaks somewhere different.

01 · Where

Product page → cart

71% of product-page visitors never add to cart, and mobile is twice as bad as desktop.

02 · Why

The size guide sits below the fold

Recordings show shoppers scrolling past the button to find sizing, then leaving.

03 · Fix tested

Sticky add-to-cart, sizing inline

Shipped as an A/B test and run to 95% significance before anyone called it.

What you get

Four things, every month.

Written for the people who act on it — your developer, your marketing lead, your founder. Not a slide deck built to sell you a retainer.

  1. Research report

Where the funnel leaks, by template and device, with the evidence behind every finding.

    PDF · Updated quarterly
  2. Test roadmap

Every idea scored on revenue impact against effort, so the next test is never a debate.

  3. Test results

What won, what lost, what was inconclusive — and what it is worth annualized.

How it works

From audit to first winning test.

We start with an audit so the first test is chosen by evidence, not by whoever spoke loudest in the kickoff.

  1. Week 1Revenue auditWe review all three levers and quantify what conversion is currently costing you.
  2. Weeks 2–3ResearchAnalytics, recordings and surveys on the templates that matter, turned into a ranked roadmap.
  3. OngoingTestExperiments launched in priority order, each run until it reaches significance.
  4. MonthlyShip & repeatWinners built into production, results reported against revenue, next test queued.

Why it compounds

Small lifts, stacked, move the whole number.

One winning test is a nice result. A program of them compounds — every win raises the baseline the next test starts from.

Conversion rate across a test programWon — shippedFlat or lost — not shipped

Who it’s for

A fit for some brands. Honest about the rest.

Best-fit signals

  • Has traffic, weak conversion rate
  • Mobile converting well below desktop
  • High PDP views, low add-to-cart
  • Cart and checkout drop-off above benchmark
  • Tests run before, results never shipped
  • Recently redesigned, not yet re-optimized

Not a fit

  • Under 500 orders a month
  • A traffic problem rather than a conversion problem
  • Magento / Adobe Commerce
  • Looking for a one-off redesign, not a program

Below roughly 500 orders a month (about 50,000 sessions at a 1% conversion rate), a testing program produces inconclusive results. Brands under that floor get research-led fixes and implementation instead, or an honest referral.

FAQ

Before you start a CRO program.

Didn't see your question? Email us at 100xretention@gmail.com

How soon will we see results?

The first test usually launches within three weeks of kickoff. How fast it reaches significance depends on your traffic — we give you the expected run time before it starts.

Why do you need about 500 orders a month?

That is about 50,000 sessions at a 1% conversion rate. Below that, most tests cannot reach significance in a reasonable time. We would rather say so and offer research and implementation work than sell you inconclusive results.

Do you build the winning variants?

Yes. Design and development of winners is part of the program, so results reach production instead of a slide. Your team reviews each change before it goes live.

Which testing tools do you use?

The tools you already have, where they are sound, and a recommendation where you do not. The method matters more than the logo: a clean setup, a planned sample size and an agreed metric.

How is this different from a UX agency?

A UX agency ships its opinion. We test it first, only build what the data proved, and report what it was worth in revenue per visitor, including the tests that lost.

What does it cost?

It is scoped to your traffic and roadmap after the audit, so you see the plan before you see the price, and you can decide which levers to start with.
