CRO · Design

Shopify UX & UI design.

We redesign the templates that carry your revenue, starting from research and test results rather than taste, and ship each change the way the evidence supports.

We start from analytics, session recordings, heatmaps and the results of A/B tests, then redesign the parts of the page that research says are losing sales.

What’s included

Redesign what testing proved.

A redesign is a big, untested bet unless it builds on evidence. We find what is losing sales, prototype the fix, and ship it the way the data supports.

01 · Research

Find what is losing sales.

We review your goals, products and customer behavior to find the gaps in your current store.

  • Analytics review by template
  • Session recordings and heatmaps
  • Results of past A/B tests
  • Mobile and desktop behavior compared
  • A clear UX direction
02 · Prototype

Map the flow first.

Page structure, user flows and content planned, then tested as a prototype before development begins.

  • Wireframes tailored to your store
  • Interactive prototype creation
  • Clear visual mapping of user flows
  • User testing to collect feedback
  • Page structure built around buyer behavior
03 · Design & ship

Release it on evidence.

Clean, consistent interfaces, shipped as a test where traffic allows and in stages where it doesn’t.

  • UI design and visual system
  • Reusable components
  • Precise specifications for your developers
  • Cross-device and browser QA
  • Tested against the current design

What you get

Four things, every project.

Everything your team needs to see why each change was made and to build it accurately.

  1. Research findings

Where each template loses sales, drawn from analytics, recordings, heatmaps and past tests.

    Per template
  2. Interactive prototype

The user flows and key interactions, clickable, so you can review and adjust early.

    Before development
  3. Design system

Typography, spacing, color and reusable components that keep the store consistent.

    Yours to keep
  4. Developer-ready files

Organized design files and specifications, so the build matches the design.

    Files + specs

How it works

From research to release.

Most projects take two to four weeks, depending on how many templates change and how complex the changes are.

Who it’s for

A fit for some brands. Honest about the rest.

Best-fit signals

  • Product pages that bury key information
  • Collection pages where products are hard to find
  • Shoppers leaving at the cart drawer
  • Mobile layouts that started life on desktop
  • Navigation that doesn’t match how people shop
  • A redesign planned, want it built on evidence

Not a fit

  • Want a redesign based on taste, not evidence
  • A traffic problem rather than a conversion problem
  • Under $200k a month in revenue
  • Magento / Adobe Commerce

Below roughly 500 orders a month (about 50,000 sessions at a 1% conversion rate), a testing program produces inconclusive results. Brands under that floor get research-led fixes and implementation instead, or an honest referral.

FAQ

Before you redesign.

How long does a project take?

Most take two to four weeks, depending on the number of templates and how complex the changes are. User testing or extra rounds of prototyping can add time.

Can you improve our existing theme instead of building a new one?

Yes. Most stores don’t need a rebuild. We find the templates that lose sales, such as a product page that buries key information or a collection page that makes products hard to find, fix them, and test the change before it rolls out.

Do you redesign specific pages or the whole store?

Either. We can work on individual templates like home, collection, product and cart, or the whole store, so you can fix the priority areas first.

How do you know a redesign worked?

Where traffic allows, the new design ships as a test against the current one, with revenue per visitor as the deciding metric. Where it doesn’t, we release in stages and compare against a baseline.

What if we don’t have the traffic to test?

Testing needs roughly 500 orders a month (about 50,000 sessions at a 1% conversion rate). Below that, we still do the research and redesign, then release in stages and measure against a baseline instead.

Do you provide developer-ready files?

Yes. We deliver organized design files and specifications your developers can follow, which cuts back-and-forth during the build. We can also support them through implementation.
